Why The Foschini Group is paying billions for Coricraft, Dial-a-Bed

The Foschini Group (TFG) plans to use the acquisition of Coricraft owner Tapestry Home Brands to grow its local furniture manufacturing capacity.

On Monday, it announced it would pay R2.3 billion for Tapestry, which owns the Coricraft, Dial-a-Bed, The Bed Store and Volpes chains.
