The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has released the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 Eligibility Cards. The registration cards were due to be released on January 12 but were postponed by UPBEB. UPTET 2021 was originally scheduled for November 28, but due to paper leak controversies, the exam was canceled on the same day. As a result, many people were arrested and the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board, UPBEB, announced a new date for the exam.

Candidates appearing for UPTET 2021 will be given the opportunity to travel to their exam centers free of charge. Candidates registered for UPTET 2021 can download their admission card by going to the official website updeled.gov.in and following the steps mentioned below.

  2. Click on the “UPTET 2021 Admit Card Link” in the sidebar OR click on “Admit Card Download” under the “UPTET Candidate Service” tab at the top of the homepage.

  3. Enter your registration number, one-time password and captcha and click Sign In

  4. Check your details on the map

  5. Take a print

Almost 13.25,000 applicants have applied for the UPTET 2021 Primary Level exam, and about 8.93,000 candidates have applied for the Upper Primary Level exam.

UPTET 2021 will be carried out in two shifts. 10:00am to 12:00pm morning shift for Paper -1 (Grades 1 to 5) and a 14:30 to 17:00 evening shift for Paper -2 (Grades 6 to 8). To be eligible for UPTET 2021, candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria specified by UPBEB.

Primary (grades 1 to 5)

Passed 10+2 exam (intermediate level) with 50% score and 4-year B.LEd degree

Bachelor’s degree in any stream with B.Ed degree

Diploma in Teaching from Aligarh Muslim University AMU, Aligarh

Passed Moaalizm E Urdu Exam OR Passed D.Ed Special Exam.

2-year BTC or special BTC exam passed

High School (grades 6 to 8)

Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree with 50% grades with passing B.Ed / B.Ed special exam

Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree with BTC Education Passed 2-year exam

10+2 intermediate exam with 50% grades and B.LEd 4-year course

10+2 Inter Exam with 50% Mark and B.SC Ed Exam Passed
