Tripura Tribal Council Hands-Over Financial Aid To 68 Students

Agartala, January 24, 2022: The Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) administration Monday extended financial aid for B.Ed and D.El.Ed students originating from ADC areas of the state.

According to a press release, TTAADC board member Purna Chandra Jamatia presented financial aid checks to a total of 68 students.

The TTAADC administration had issued 29 lakh Rs 8,125 in financial aid for these students who are currently pursuing B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses.

Jamatia later spoke to reporters and said, “Faced with financial constraints, the ADC administration is making progress in developing these areas and helping indigenous peoples, especially students.”

He commented that this will be particularly helpful for the development of society.

Board member Kamal Kalai and Chief Executive Officer CK Jamatia were present at the handing over of financial support checks among the beneficiaries.

Jamatia further added: “As promised by our #Bubagra, the royal offspring and Chair of TIPRA Motha Pradyot Kishore Debbarman and the TTAADC administration, today we have 75% of the fees to 41 B.ED and 27 D.EL.ED -Students paid. I wish all 68 students the best of luck for their future tasks.”
