Jamshedpur, July 15: The 10 day Microteaching Workshop organized at Srinath University for students of D El Ed and Bed for the academic session 2021- ’23 concluded on Friday, July 15. The workshop was conducted between July 4 and 15.
Skills taken up during the Microteaching Workshop included Classroom Management, Set Induction, Explanation, Illustrations with Examples, Blackboard (Whiteboard) Writing, Stimulus Variation, Reinforcement and Subject Conclusion.
The concluding day’s introductory speech was presented by Prof Vikas while Dr Bhavya Bhushan summed up the proceedings of the 10 day Microteaching Workshop. She observed, “Microteaching acts as a feedback device through student-teacher interactions in the course of which, teachers locate problem areas in learning and again explain such points so that the pupils gain clear concepts.”
Feedback by students through interaction revealed unanimity among them when they stated that they had learned the nine skills of Microteaching very minutely.
