“SNL” just couldn’t hold it in.
The late night show spoofed the ongoing trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Saturday night, specifically the part where the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor claims he found fecal matter on his side of the bed after a 2016 argument with his ex-wife.
It’s a story Depp has alleged previously, but it resurfaced amid the divorced movie star’s latest court battle – Depp is suing Heard for libel, saying her 2018 Washington Post op-ed defamed him.
During the skit, the jury is shown surveillance video of Depp’s house staff discovering the fecal matter.
When presented, the judge (Cecily Strong) allows the video to be shown because “it does sound fun, and this trial is for fun,” she jokes.

In the footage, Depp’s property manager (Kenan Thompson) discovers the “boo boo.” When Depp’s landscaper (Ego Nwodim) arrives, the two debate who or what might have left the deposit. During the trial, Depp testified that Heard allegedly blamed the fecal matter on their small dogs.
“No that mess didn’t come out of no dog, it came out of a dehydrated adult,” Nwodim jokes.
“Maybe the wife did it?” Thompson says.
“Why would she boo boo in her own bed,” Nwodim replies.
“Well remember she already cut the boy finger off and my daddy always told me ‘if a girl cut your finger off, she will boo boo in your bed.’ ”

Back in the courtroom, the judge asks Depp (Kyle Mooney), “Are you finding this trial amusing?”

“So am I,” she jokes while toasting a glass of wine.
