Skittles Launches Candy Dispensing Bed

Skittles wants candy fans to have sweet dreams – literally. Skittles teamed up with Simmons to create The Simmons Sweet Sleep bed, a colorful and innovative bed that also happens to be a candy dispensing machine that holds all the Skittles candy you could want and a candy fan will be calling it’s theirs for the price of a bag of delicious sweets.

On Monday, Skittles unveiled the bold, one-of-a-kind bed. The Simmons Sweet Sleep Bed is a fully functional Murphy bed – you know, the kind of bed that lets you put the mattress in a compartment when not in use – with an also fully functional candy dispenser built in. Just slide the machine open and you have the perfect place to sweetly sleep. According to information on the Simmons website, the bed is fitted with a twin-size, medium-firm mattress. Why this unique pairing? The website states that “Both Simmons and the Skittles brand love anything that is colorful, bold, and unpredictable. That’s why they created the Simmons Sweet Sleep Bed to bring unexpected fun to a lucky fan’s bedroom this holiday season Only Simmons and the Skittles brand can create a bed full of sweet treats and a mattress cozy enough to make you feel whole. ” Treats by day, dreams by night. If you want to own the one-of-a-kind Simmons Sweet Sleep Bed, here’s what you should know. There is only one of these beds and it will go on sale sometime after 1pm. ET on Monday December 13th on the Simmons website here. The exact time of sale is kept under lock and key, but you can visit the website for more information as well as a demonstration of how the bed works.
