Selena Gomez has a hard time getting out of bed at times.
The 29-year-old singer revealed through an Instagram video that she has various “tools” that can help her with her mental health.
When asked how she takes care of her mental health, Selena – who had previously suffered from panic attacks and depression – shared, “Sometimes I’m not good at like just waking up and sometimes having trouble just getting out of bed come .”
However, Selena also revealed some of the tricks she has learned over the years.
She said, “The main thing that helps me is just pick up the phone and call someone.”
The brunette beauty, who previously dated Justin Bieber and The Weeknd, also revealed some of the other tools she uses to improve her mental health.
Speaking to her fans, she explained in the video: “I am constantly trying to fill myself with the knowledge of what I am feeling and what triggers happen to me.
“I think what really helps me understand myself a bit better is that I can take a step back and think of all the tools I’ve learned and try to apply them in my everyday life. That usually helps me. “
Selena really doesn’t like exercising, but she understands that it’s good for her mental health.
The ‘Lose You to Love Me’ hitmaker noted that her boxing lessons help her feel “so good”.
Selena said, “I hate to work out! It’s not fun but I’ve been taking intense boxing classes lately and it has really helped me get a lot of frustration but also just energy and it feels so good.”
