Romeo y Julieta Bed of Roses Humidor With 24 Special Smokes

A limited-edition humidor from Altadis USA goes on sale in March and comes with two dozen Churchill-sized Romeo y Julieta cigars made specifically for this release.

Dubbed the Romeo y Julieta Bed of Roses Humidor, this rectangular cabinet stands 20 inches tall and is finished in a piano cherry red finish. Inside are 24 Churchills measuring 7 inches by 50 ring gauges. The cigars consist exclusively of Nicaraguan tobacco and were manufactured by Plasencia Cigars in Estelí. This particular blend is unique to the Bed of Roses project and can only be obtained by purchasing this humidor, which can hold up to 100 cigars.

According to Rafael Nodal, Head of Product Capability at Altadis USA, the cigars contain tobacco that he describes as particularly aged.

The Romeo y Julieta Bed of Roses humidor will be unveiled at the Tobacco Plus Expo in Las Vegas next week before shipping to retailers in March. It’s said to cost $2,000, and only 100 humidors will be produced.

The name “Bed of Roses” refers to the flowers that bloom around Juliet’s balcony in the illustration that adorns each box of Romeo y Julieta cigars.
