BEDFORD-STUYVESANT, BROOKLYN — Bottoms up, Bed Stuy. A local queer bar has been named one of the hottest places for cocktails in New York City.
Former Eugene & Co. employee Laura Poladsky and co-owner Caitlin Frame bring a vibe that’s “fun, sexy, and warmly welcoming,” according to Eater.
Bed-Stuy imbibers will find a slew of cocktails, small plates and local events that celebrate neighborhood Pride.
Owners wrote at the time, “We couldn’t be more pleased or excited to be opening up a queer space in Bedstuy.”
Oddly Enough joins four other Brooklyn bars in receiving Eater’s coveted tip-of-the-hat: Eavesdrop and El Pingüino in Greenpoint, Deux Chats and Common Mollies in Williamsburg.
The rest of the new cocktail bars are in Manhattan with the exception of a beloved Rockaway Beach bar that recently relaunched called Connolly’s.
Don’t tell The Bronx or Staten Island.
