Do you want a PS5? At Walmart, Amazon, and Best Buy, you may need to subscribe first
It’s been almost a year since Sony (SONY) first released its PlayStation 5 video game consoles, and while they have sold over 10 million, they still aren’t widely available to customers. Due to massive demand, global chip shortages, and various supply chain issues, they are sold out at almost every retailer, and PS5 consoles are being offered for hundreds of dollars more than their original retail price on reseller sites such as eBay (EBAY). In the past few weeks, Walmart (WMT) Amazon (AMZN) and Best Buy (BBY) have released limited quantities of the coveted PS5, but with one catch: They are only for subscribers.
