A Married at First Sight bride has revealed how she went home with a date only to find another woman in his bed.
Self-confessed hopeless romantic Caitlin McConville from Brisbane ‘married’ 30-year-old personal trainer Shannon Adams in Thursday’s episode of the hit Channel Nine show.
But before heading on the show, the make-up artist, 27, revealed she dated a series of ‘d***heads’.

Revealing one particularly bad story, she explained: ‘I went on a date with a guy and it was extravagant, he pulled out all the stops.
‘I thought “you know what, I’ve done it this time, this a good one”.
‘And then we went back to his house at the end of the night. And there was a girl in his bed.

‘That was the moment when I was like, “You shouldn’t be in charge of your love life anymore”.
‘That’s why I’m not having a good run. That was the moment when I gave up on myself’.
Speaking to the experts, Caitlin added that she ‘doesn’t love herself as much as she should’ as she’s been ‘cheated on’ and she ‘just wants a guy that accepts me as I am’.

She added: ‘I hope I’m matched with someone who is genuine and has a really good sense of humour. Because I like to love a cheeky guy.’
Luckily, the experts appeared to do a good job with Caitlin immediately hitting it off with Victoria-based fitness guru Shannon who later described Caitlin as a ‘chick version’ of himself.
Speaking while she gave her vows, Caitlin said her friends and family would describe her type as ‘d***heads’ but that she’s hoping to find a nice guy.

She seemed to immediately hit it off with her groom, who is a single dad and previously had a career as a child star.
The Melbourne-based PT was just eight-years-old when his acting career began and he has starred in TV shows such as Blue Heelers, Neighbors and Rush.
In 2019, he competed against the likes of Love Island’s Maurice Salib and Lochie Carey for the Manhunt Australia Male Model of the Year title.
