COLORADO SPRINGS – As thousands of children across the country prepare to wake up in their beds on Christmas morning and enjoy new toys, others will wake up not just with no toys, but beds too.

That’s why Colorado Springs-based Love Your Neighbor and the local nonprofit The Success Collective dedicate their time to building bunk beds for children in need.

The bunk bed operation has been running since 2018 and has gained momentum over the years. This year, members of the Pulpit Rock Church and members of the Success Collective have teamed up to make as many beds as possible before the holidays.

By mid-November, the two groups had built almost 600 beds for local children, many of whom live in foster families or in poor conditions.
