TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – It’s almost time to raise a glass of sparkling apple juice and “toast” the New Year … all while the kids go to bed at a reasonable time!
At many locations across the Tampa Bay region, “midday New Year’s Eve ”throughout New Year’s Eve, so kids can celebrate everything from live entertainment to fireworks during the day.
From a New Year’s Eve cruise on the Lost Pearl to “explosive attempts” in the Glaz Children’s Museum in the city center, there is something for all families to enjoy on vacation.

Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
ZooTampa doesn’t limit New Year’s Eve celebrations to just before midnight. The zoo hosts a daytime celebration in the park’s wallaroo area with a DJ and dance party, competitions, giveaways, and more.
The celebrations are included in the day admission or the zoo membership.
Location: 6105 Wesley Grove Blvd, Wesley Chapel
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This celebration at The Grove at Wesley Chapel features a gem and beauty workshop, a soap bubble and magic show, games and activities for kids, daytime fireworks, a confetti explosion, and more.
The event is chargeable and children under the age of 13 have free entry as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

Time: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In the Glaz Children’s Museum there are countdowns and celebrations every hour on New Year’s Eve.
“We will have everything from a balloon release to a fireworks display in bubble wrap to explosive experiments and more!” Says the museum’s event page.
Location: 1910 N Ola Ave, Tampa
Time: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Armature Works’ fourth annual Noon Year Eve celebration begins at 10 a.m. on the lawns to the south and west. There will be a countdown to the noon fireworks on the Hillsborough River.
The event is free and public. Kids and families can enjoy inflatable slides, roaming entertainment, photo opportunities, treat sellers, and much more.
Location: Tampa Convention Center / Pirate Water Taxi Stop 7 Dock, 333 S Franklin St, Tampa
Time: 1-hour and 15-minute cruises depart from the dock between 11:00 AM and 12:15 PM
Pirates of all ages can celebrate the New Year on the Lost Pearl from 11 a.m.
Adult tickets start at $ 35 and $ 30 for children. Tickets include a free champagne and sparkling wine toast at lunchtime, as well as a cannonball drop at lunchtime and fun activities for kids.
Snacks, soda, water, and a full bar can be purchased on board.
Location: 201 10th St W, Bradenton
Time: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature in Bradenton heralds the New Year at noon instead of midnight. At the event, families can design egg shakers, make party hats, and write resolutions for 2022.
A countdown is running in the courtyard.
The “noon of the year” is included in the admission price. Entry is halved on New Year’s Eve and the museum closes at 1 p.m.

Time: Time slots from 9-10 a.m., 10.30 a.m.-11.30 a.m., 12 p.m.-1 p.m., 1.30 p.m.-2.30 p.m.
Little Explorers hosts celebrations with hourly time slots and advance booking is required.
Families can celebrate the New Year with their little explorers with a countdown, balloon drop, lights, music and more.
