Cortlandt Town Center in Mohegan Lake is preparing for a new tenant.
Known for its affordable home décor, HomeGoods is set to open on the Bed Bath & Beyond premises in the next few months, although an official opening date has not yet been announced.
“We expect the new HomeGoods store in Mohegan Lake to open this spring,” said Samantha Abbatessa, Marketing Supervisor at HomeGoods.
The store will sell furniture, décor, lighting, and accessories for various spaces around the home, including the kitchen, bathroom, outdoor areas, and pet supplies.

The new location is the second TJX Company Store within the mall. The TJX Company owns HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, Homesense, Sierra and Marshalls, which are located on the opposite end of downtown Cortlandt. A Homesense store is across Route 6 from the mall.
The Bed Bath & Beyond location of the Cortlandt Town Center was closed in April 2021 due to the company’s restructuring efforts. A 2020 announcement by Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. said 21%, or 200 eponymous locations, would close over two years.
