“The existing capacity of the gas distributor has been expanded to meet demand along with the work on the medical gas pipeline. During the second wave, thousands of patients from the Delhi-NCR area flocked to Haryana, particularly in adjacent districts, for medical assistance. In response to this demand, the existing capacity was expanded and an intensive care unit for critical Covid care with 100 beds was set up to meet the increasing demands and needs of the people. This completes the oxygen triad for the care of Covid patients, “said the spokesman.

Therefore, ventilators and devices were purchased along with medicines and consumables to make them work. In addition to the equipment, 143 SRs (Senior Resident Doctors) at state medical universities and 54 other medical specialists have offered themselves as faculty members.
