Plans have been revealed to turn a single family home on South Leeds Street into a huge bed and breakfast for up to 21 guests.
Located at the intersection of Grovehall Drive and Oakhurst Mount in Beeston, the house was originally built as a five bedroom property.
But it could soon be adapted to 11 bedrooms on four floors.

The developer has submitted plans to convert the property’s basement into four en-suite bedrooms and add two more bedrooms in the garage, including one with a wet room for disabled guests.
Two more bedrooms would be installed at the rear of the house, while an open plan kitchen, dining and living area would occupy the remainder of the ground floor.
According to the applicant, the changes will help “increase local jobs and business” and “bring more tourism to Leeds”.
However, a local resident has formally appealed the plans and suggested that parking be questioned.
They said, “Please consider the people who live here and what it will do [to] the value of our properties and the additional deterioration that additional parking spaces in the area will cause. “
However, the developers have already turned the property’s garden into a parking lot with space for eight vehicles.
There are other concerns, however.
The objection letter also states: “It has been done very underhandedly.
“We were all assured that they would create a single-family home for the client and his family.

“Then changing the application just before Christmas, when you think no one will notice, is very sneaky.
“It’s a family street with lots of children. Do you want that next door? I do not think so!”
The plans are to be decided on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
