Deputy loses control, crashes into Oklahoma creek bed

HUGHES COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) – A sheriff’s deputy in Hughes County is thankful to be OK after crashing into a creek.

On Tuesday, officials with the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office say a deputy lost control of his patrol unit on a county road.

The truck then overturned in a shallow creek bed.

Fortunately, the deputy was not injured in the crash.
