Bed-Stuy Man Fatally Shot In Williamsburg, Cops Say

BROOKLYN, NY – A Bed-Stuy man was found fatally shot in Williamsburg Thursday night, police said.

Rescue workers found the 34-year-old Augustin Santiago near Broadway and Marcy Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. with a gunshot wound in the chest, according to police.

Santiago, who lived on Myrtle Avenue, was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

There were no arrests until Friday morning.
