The family company Cheshire is launching a series of ads on social media platforms that promise to take viewers on a dreamy journey through the clouds. Land of beds.
The campaign is the company’s most expensive advertising campaign in its 50-year history and testifies to the rapid growth of the bed specialist in recent times.
The ads are a mix of live-action films and CGI, and show people in beds soaring through the sky. Actress Farrel Hegarty, whose credits include Coronation Street, Emmerdale and the HBO movie My Dinner with Herve, stars in the ads designed to showcase her as the company’s new face.
CEO Michael Murray said he looks forward to working with production specialist SOUP Creative on the special visual effects-heavy ads, not just because of their track record with brands like Sony, Brother, Manchester City Football Club and Chester Zoo, but also because of their passion and chemistry it shared for the project. Further collaborations are already in development.
“We have been in business for over 50 years and have a wealth of experience helping customers take the sometimes difficult journey of finding the perfect product to get them a good night’s sleep,” says Michael. “We wanted our new video to demonstrate our knowledge and expertise to find a tailor-made sleep solution – but also the importance of expert advice on such an important purchase that can have a direct impact on health and wellbeing. We hope this campaign will increase our brand awareness so that we can continue our mission to help as many people sleep better as possible. “
