Bed-Filled Vietnamese Cafes : chidori

Studio Anettai designs the Chidori cafe, which is a cozy new cafe that serves up cups of Vietnamese coffee in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam. The cafe is found in an old tube apartment and is designed with relaxed details paying mind to the interiors. To do so, the chairs and tables are swapped out and in place are a set of beds, which is inspired by the narrow shape of Hem alleys. The interior resembles the look of an elevated hostel and is filled with double beds along with small nooks for guests to come and relax, enjoy a book, lay down, do work, and most importantly, be comfortable while enjoying their coffees.
