30k B.Ed final-year students await results | Agra News

Agra: Approximately 30,000 B. Ed students from Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University are waiting for their graduation results, which should be announced by the end of October. After a five-month delay, B. Ed’s final exams finally took place in mid-October. To expedite the reporting of results, exam papers were objectified and Optical Marker Recognition (OMR) sheets were used to record responses. However, the results, which should be reported within two weeks of the exams, are not yet known.
According to students, finding a job or admission to further study without getting their results has become a major challenge for them. “Inspecting OMR sheets is a fast, mechanized process. The poor approach of the university management is the only reason for the delay in the declaration of results, “said Vimal Kumar, a B. Ed. Students in their final year of study.
The practical exams (by B. Ed graduates), which are usually taken before the theory exams, were conducted after the theory exams this year. According to sources, the university administration has still not received grades from students from 6 of the 42 node centers where practical exams were held.
Shubham Srivastava, a B.Ed graduate student, said: “First, there have been a lot of delays in our exams and now the results are delayed. We made the rounds of the university secretariat to get results. We will hold a protest if the results are not available within the next 10 days. ”
Agra University Examination Director RK Yadav said, “Some of the colleges did not send the list of grades awarded to students in practical exams. We have asked you to provide this immediately so that we can B. Ed. Last year’s results in the next week. ”
