2nd Teen Charged In Shooting Death Of Bed-Stuy 16-Year-Old: Cops

BED-STUY, BROOKLYN – Police say a second teenager has been charged with the shooting of a 16-year-old boy in Bed-Stuy.

A 16-year-old, whose identity has not been disclosed, was charged late last week with murder and gun possession in the death of Jaden Turnage, who was found shot in the chest on Monroe Street in September, police said.

The teenager was arrested several weeks after 18-year-old Aramis Gonzalez was charged on the case.

Turnage, who lived nearby on Quincy Street, was found shot dead between Franklin and Classon Avenues at around 6.15 p.m. on September 29. He was taken to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
