The government of Haryana has decided to build a 200-bed health block for mothers and children at Faridabad Civil Hospital.
An official spokesman said the prime minister had approved a proposal in principle. The spokesman said the mother-and-child block is being developed as part of the National Health Mission in six counties in the state. He said every block at Panchkula, Sonepat and Palwal civil hospitals and one at Nalhad Medical College was under construction.
