Jamshedpur, Jan 5: A 100 bed field fabricated hospital is being built at Sadar Hospital in Khasmahal. A fund of Rs 638.9 lakh has been approved for this project by the state administration. This entire hospital is being built with steel and iron, sources said.
Sources said the hospital would be used during epidemic or emergency situation. It is being built by HiTech Construction company through Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation under the National Health Mission, sources said.
The hospital project was inaugurated by Chief Minister Hemant Soren on 7th November last at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur, during Apki Sarkar Apki Dwar programme. The hospital will have various state-of-the-art facilities for patients.
District Civil Surgeon Dr Jujhar Manjhi said the hospital would prove to be a boon for the people of the region.
